Non-Point Source Pollution

Engel et al. [1993] presented a spatial decision support system for modeling and managing agricultural non-point source pollution. The SDSS consisted of a GIS with a distributed parameter watershed model. The data management and visualization capabilities of the system allowed decision makers to identify problem areas much more quickly than previously possible.
